Ashley's Story

When I started in the program my goals were to lose weight, get my mobility back, be pain free and just feel better about my future.  

 

Having never trained in my life this seemed like an overwhelming and mountainous task at first not to mention I had no idea where to even begin. Having had multiple conversations with Chuck for sometime before starting he assured me that all my goals were well within my reach. I committed to 1 year of working with him feeling I really had nothing to lose at this point as my body aches and pain were stealing my ability to enjoy nearly everything and I had little to no self confidence by this point. 

 

With all of this being new I truly appreciated his guidance, the personal coaching for support as well as the continued encouragement. A couple key take aways for me over the year was that I learned about macros and how to meal prep, As a railroader being gone for a day or two at a time this was by far the most needed skill I had been lacking from all my previous failed attempts. With that as the key to my success for achieving the results I wanted to see, it has also provided me with more energy at 42 years of age than I ever had at any other point in my entire life. 

 

Thinking back to when I started out and the fact that I could barely walk around the block without being in pain, tired and out of breath. Six months later while on vacation in Mexico to visit my parents I decided to do some exploration of the countryside and check out the sights. Upon my return I noticed that I had walked over 30km according to my Apple Watch! The best part is I could have kept going! 

 

What I would say to anyone who is in the same shoes as I was is this. Stick with it, even when the times are tough, Trust the process laid out before you and the results will happen when you put in the work.
